2008 - extract 1

So here I am again, in the land of smiles (Thailand). After a 12-hour flight, we landed at Bangkok International Airport on time. The small problem was that at the customs they didn’t want to let us in! Oh, I should mention I took Pawel and Dawid, who will train together with me for the month. The customs officer wanted to know the exact address of our destination, which I didn’t have with me. Anyway, after I told her we are nuk muays - boxers - and told her the name of the gym and the area where we were going to stay, finally she let us through the gates. After that, we were waiting to collect our suitcases, and I was getting worried because It took ages to find my bag (I actually thought they lost it!).

After collecting the luggage, there were the manager of the gym (Mr Jakae), and one of his trainers (Mr Pat, fighting name 'Smingnum', who was a two-time Rajadamnern champion with over 300 fights) waiting for us. After 40 minutes journey we got to the Keathamtorn Gym.
