This is my third day of training in Ubon, north Thailand.
I'm training in Legacygym. This is the third gym I have trained at in Thailand and I reckon that every gym is different, and you can learn a lot from different trainers.
Morning training here in Ubon starts early at 6am. First, we jog for about8km around the lake, then a little bit of streching and shadow boxing, and finally we work with the trainer on Thai pads; usually three rounds, each round, four mins. At the end, we do exercise to make the neck stronger, then stretching again.
Evening training starts about 3.30pm. First, we do about 3km running, then 10 minutes' skipping. Next, shadow boxing, two or three rounds of four minutes. Next, we do training on Thai pads, three rounds or more. Each round, four minutes. Next, sparring and about 20 mins clinching. Then, sit-ups and press-ups. There's stretching at the end.
The gym is located outside the city so there are no disruptions at all. We just train and then rest between sessions.
There are about eight people training now in the gym, all of them from different countries. There are two guys from Brazil, both black belts in Brazilian ju jitsu. There are three guys from Sweden, all fighting in MMA. One guy from Israel and one guy from Japan (he is teaching Brazilian ju jitsu in the gym as well) and myself.
There are two muay Thai trainers and one guy who is teaching boxing (former WBC international champion). His name is Abnel and he is an excellent trainer in boxing.
